From 1953 to 1991, Vince worked for Otter Tail Power Company Special Engineering Services. He stated that he was fortunate to be a part of the building of the transmission system as we know it today.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; twin sons, Vaughn of Fergus Falls and Charles of Dent; daughter, Kaya Epps of Fergus Falls; two grandchildren, Chuck (Amber) Epps and Leah (Zachary) Epps both of Fargo, ND; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Jr. and Donovan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rachel Ebbighausen; three brothers, Harlan, Henry George and Fredrick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Federated Church and Lakeland Hospice.
Visitation: Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church
