William (Bill) S. Stutsman, Jr., 53, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, October 12 at Sanford Health in Fargo after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was born August 7, 1958, in Moorhead, MN to William and Monica (Koppelman) Stutsman. He lived in Wahpeton, ND and Cannon Falls, MN before his family moved to Pelican Rapids, MN. He grew up and attended school in Pelican Rapids where he was active in his church and Boy Scouts. He graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1977. Two years later he graduated from Moorhead Tech in auto mechanics and the Bemidji Tech as an automotive machinist.
After working in Fargo and Minot, ND he moved to Duluth, MN and worked at Jarden Home Products in Cloquet, MN for 17 years until his health failed in July, 2008. He then moved to Fergus Falls, MN. Bill was a quiet, loyal and courageous man.
Left to mourn him are his parents; brothers, Hal (Rachel) of Stafford, VA and Joel (Teri) of Duluth, MN; nephew, Samuel Stutsman and nieces, Taylor and Molly Stutsman.
Funeral Services: Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
