Louise Tomhave, 96, of Fergus Falls, died peacefully Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Broen Home, Fergus Falls.
Louise R. Tomhave was born August 25, 1916 in Little Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Genevieve (Mrozek) Piekarski.
On October 15, 1942 Louise was united in marriage to Roland D. Tomhave at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls. She has been a resident of Fergus Falls since her marriage. Louise was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two children, Mary Schultz (John Malpert, Jr.) of Fessenden, ND and Richard (Theresa) Tomhave of Fergus Falls, MN; four granddaughters, Bonita (John) Lehmann, Deanna (Brian) Seibold, Stephanie (Shane) Wruck and Amy (Chad) Walkup; six great-grandchildren, Julie (Charles) Cofield, Bruce Lehmann, Ruby, Chloe, Sophie and Eli Walkup; one great-great-grandson, John Cofield; sister-in-law Bernice Piekarski; many nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers and sisters and their spouses except one; her sisters-in-law and their spouses; her son-in-law, Clayton Schultz; her grandson, James Schultz and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Friday, June 7, 2013, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Fergus Falls.
Visitation: 5 – 7 PM Thursday, with a Rosary at 6:45 PM, followed by Parish Prayers, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls. Visitation resumes one hour prior to the service at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
