Theodore “Tee” Waskosky, 69 of Erdahl died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Evansville Care Campus under the care of LB Hospice.
Theodore Cleon Waskosky was born on November 23, 1948, in Wadena, Minnesota the son of Theodore Julius and Helen Christine (Andersen) Waskosky. He was baptized and confirmed in the Nidaros Lutheran Church of rural Clitherall. Tee attended the Vining School through the eighth grade and in 1962, they moved to Erdahl and he graduated from the Elbow Lake High School in 1966. He continued his education with one year at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis and then two years at the St. Cloud Vocational Technical School majoring as an electrician. On November 9, 1969, he enlisted with the US Air Force, serving three months in Vietnam and nine months in Korea, and was honorably discharged on November 9, 1973.
Tee married Cheryl Albrecht and they had two children, Roger and Kyle. They later divorced. Tee and Tami Hawkenson have been together since 1994, they have one son, Theodore “TJ”. In 1974, he joined the family business, Waskosky Well Drilling, with his dad and brother, Mark. Tee became sole owner in 1979; the business was turned over to his son Kyle in 2015, becoming the 4th generation of well drillers. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed traveling, was a hard-dedicated worker, he liked snowmobiling, four wheeling and his antique John Deere tractors. Tee was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his soulmate and best friend, Tami; three sons, Roger Waskosky of Crivitz, Wisconsin, Kyle (Bonnie) Waskosky and TJ Waskosky all of Erdahl; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Mikayla, Oliver, Casey and Holland; one great-grandchild, Kayleigh; sister, Phi Lohre (Marvin) Griffith of Otsego; two brothers, Mark Waskosky of Fergus Falls and Sheldon (Kris) Waskosky of Sioux Falls, SD; longtime forever faithful employees, Dave Jante and Gordy Rohloff and by numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Helen Waskosky.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Elbow Lake.
Visitation: Monday from 4 to 7 PM, with a 6:30 PM Prayer, Service at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Evansville.
